About the Role
The Contracts Specialist will join NBCUniversal's Intellectual Property (IP) Innovation, Technology, and Policy team, providing strategic legal and policy counsel on disruptive technologies. This role supports drafting, negotiation, and oversight of various agreements, including NDAs, AI-related contracts, and IP licenses.
Key Responsibilities
- →Independently draft and review various form agreements, including NDAs, AI-related agreements, IP licenses, and similar contracts
- →Prepare short-form license agreements, amendments, and other legal documents as needed
- →Identify, research, and help resolve business, legal, and policy issues
- →Compile and distribute training materials and guidance for clients and legal teams
- →Design and implement tools to automate and track transactional processes
- →Develop policies, procedures, forms, and best practices to support process improvements
- →Contribute to special projects and perform other duties as assigned
