The role
Nebius is looking for a BI Analyst to support and evolve Nebiusβ HR and Finance analytics ecosystem. Youβre welcome to work in our offices in Amsterdam or Tel Aviv.
The company already has an established dashboard landscape, and this role focuses on increasing adoption, improving existing dashboards, and developing new analytical solutions as business needs evolve. You will partner closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure dashboards are reliable, widely used, and aligned with business decision-making. Your work will include maintaining and enhancing Tableau dashboards, improving data sources and models, and helping stakeholders translate business questions into scalable BI solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
β’ Dashboard ownership and development. Maintain and evolve the existing portfolio of HR and Finance dashboards in Tableau. Improve usability, performance, and data accuracy while ensuring dashboards remain aligned with metric definitions and BI standards.
β’ Dashboard adoption and enablement. Drive adoption of BI tools by helping stakeholders understand and use dashboards effectively. Provide demos, documentation, and guidance to enable self-service analytics.
β’ New analytics development. Identify reporting gaps and build new dashboards and analytical views that support evolving business needs.
β’ Data modeling and data source development. Write SQL queries and contribute to data transformations in Postgres and dbt. Improve data sources used by dashboards and ensure reliable metric calculations.
β’ Data quality and validation. Validate dashboard outputs and data sources through testing and QA processes. Ensure metrics remain consistent, reliable, and aligned with business definitions.β’ Stakeholder collaboration. Work closely with HR and Finance teams to translate business questions into clear analytical requirements and BI solutions.
β’ AI-assisted analytics. Use AI tools to accelerate SQL development, data exploration, dashboard prototyping, and analysis workflows.
We expect you to have:
β’ Strong Tableau experience with the ability to design complex dashboards that support business decision-making.
β’ Strong SQL skills and the ability to write complex queries and work with large datasets.
β’ Understanding of data modeling concepts and transformation workflows (experience with dbt or similar tools is a plus).
β’ Strong data visualization skills and knowledge of best practices for communicating insights through dashboards.
β’ Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
β’ High attention to detail and strong focus on data quality and metric consistency.
β’ Strong communication skills and the ability to explain analytical insights to non-technical audiences.
β’ Working knowledge of spoken and written English.
It will be an added bonus if you have:
β’ Experience working with HR or Finance data (headcount, payroll, financial reporting, budgeting, P&L, etc.).
β’ Experience working with modern data stacks (dbt, Postgres, Git).
β’ Tableau certification or a Tableau Public portfolio.
β’ Familiarity with the work of well-known data visualization authors such as Edward Tufte, Alberto Cairo, Stephen Few, Tamara Munzner, or Cole Nussbaumer Knaflic.
β’ Understanding of metric governance and BI best practices.
β’ Interest in modern analytics workflows and AI-assisted analytics.
