Sales Development Representative Internship at neighbor

Our marketplace is already flourishing in all 50 states and we’re just getting started.  As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) Intern, you will be instrumental in driving our expansion strategy while building a strong foundation in sales. Your primary focus will be on building the sales pipeline through targeted outreach, prospecting and qualifying outbound leads from small to mid-market companies, scheduling product demonstrations, and assisting with the initial client onboarding process. This role is critical to the business and you will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally to achieve an excellent customer experience while having a direct impact on our revenue and growth. Primary Responsibilities • Evangelize the Neighbor story to small businesses and commercial real estate owners. • Build a quality sales pipeline through targeted outreach and industry research, primarily by effectively contacting cold leads. • Schedule qualified product demonstrations and appointments, a key performance area with bonus opportunities. • Identify new sales opportunities through proactive prospecting and industry research. • Maintain accurate activity and lead qualification information in the CRM to ensure a smooth sales cycle follow-through. • Collaborate cross-functionally to maximize client success. Qualifications • Currently Enrolled: Must be actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program with an expected graduation date between Fall 2027 and Spring 2029. • Resilience and Persistence: A proven ability to maintain a positive outlook and continue pursuing goals despite obstacles, particularly in a cold outreach environment.
