About the Role
We are looking for a Principal Product Designer to join Neo Financial, one of Canada's fastest-growing fintech companies. You will work with cross-functional teams to define, shape, and deliver experiences across digital platforms, impacting all stages of projects from concepting to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead the definition, creation, and delivery of advanced and impactful challenges across the product
- →Participate in discovery and planning of new products and features while driving design vision
- →Work with cross-functional teams to drive design vision and strategy that meets user needs
- →Illustrate and communicate complex design solutions through process flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups
- →Transform research and requirements into deliverables demonstrating intuitive user experience
- →Mentor design colleagues and elevate the design practice and quality of experiences
- →Provide expertise for org-level decision making
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of progressive responsibility in product design or UX design roles
- ✓Deep experience with user-centered design processes and cross-functional team collaboration
- ✓Expert knowledge of the iterative product design process, including personas, flows, journey mapping, content modelling, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing
- ✓Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- ✓Strong portfolio demonstrating industry-leading quality in UX and UI work
- ✓Experience designing complex workflows with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
- ✓Deep knowledge of synthesizing research to define usability gaps, customer desires, and strategic opportunities
- ✓Ability to drive results independently while thriving in collaborative environments
- ✓Fluency in principles of information architecture, systems thinking, and user experience design
