About the Role
We are looking for a User Researcher to join our team. This role focuses on conducting user research and helping teams adopt user-centred practices.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build user-centred practices in new teams
- →Align user research activities with wider plans to inform a service proposition
- →Carry out user research and supervise and develop other user researchers
- →Conduct inclusive research to help teams understand user diversity
- →Help teams adopt a wide range of primary and secondary user research methods
- →Apply methods to analyse research data and synthesise findings
- →Present research findings to different audiences
- →Understand the social and technological context of projects
- →Align user research activities to inform decision making
- →Help inexperienced teams adopt user-centred practices
Requirements
- ✓Experience working to GDS design principles or equivalent standards in the UK Public sector
- ✓Experience of a wide range of primary and secondary user research methods
- ✓Ability to analyse research data and synthesise findings
- ✓Understanding of user-centred and agile practices
- ✓Knowledge of technologies used to build and operate digital services
