About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Architect to join our team at Nextech, a leader in specialty healthcare technology solutions. This role involves defining technical direction and leading engineering initiatives to ensure alignment with business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define technical direction and architectural patterns for significant areas of the product or platform
- →Lead large, cross-functional engineering initiatives from concept through delivery
- →Apply expert-level skills to solve highly complex technical problems
- →Partner closely with product and design leadership to shape roadmaps
- →Establish and enforce standards for code quality, testing, performance, and security
- →Identify systemic issues affecting quality, reliability, or developer productivity
- →Act as a mentor and role model for senior and mid-level engineers
- →Collaborate with management and other leaders to influence team composition
- →Represent engineering in cross-functional forums
- →Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- ✓10 years of professional software engineering experience
- ✓Demonstrated expertise designing and delivering complex, distributed systems
- ✓Proven ability to define and drive technical strategy and architecture
- ✓Strong track record of improving engineering practices and operational reliability
- ✓Extensive experience mentoring and coaching engineers
- ✓Academic education and/or professional certifications in relevant technologies
