About the Role

NextGen Federal Systems is seeking a highly experienced Information Security Analyst to protect organizational systems, applications, and data assets. This role ensures secure system design, implementation, and operation while maintaining compliance with security standards.

Key Responsibilities

→Develop and analyze system security requirements based on user input and business needs
→Evaluate business requirements and recommend secure technical alternatives
→Develop and maintain comprehensive technical and security documentation
→Conduct security testing and validation of development and production software
→Support secure implementation and integration of computer systems
→Identify system vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies
→Collaborate with system administrators, developers, and stakeholders
→Support risk assessments, audits, and compliance activities
→Ensure adherence to cybersecurity frameworks and organizational policies

Requirements

✓Four-year degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
✓Minimum of seven years of experience in IT role
✓Experience developing system requirements based on user input
✓Experience analyzing business requirements and evaluating technical alternatives
✓Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation
✓Experience testing development and production software
✓Experience implementing computer systems to meet customer requirements
✓Active DoD Secret security clearance or higher
