About the Role
NextLink Labs is seeking a skilled and proactive Video & Podcast Editor to support the launch and ongoing production of their podcast and video content initiatives. This individual will play a key role in shaping the visual storytelling of the brand through high-quality video editing, color grading, and post-production execution.
Key Responsibilities
- →Edit podcast and video content including talking-head videos, interviews, and short-form clips
- →Perform color correction and color grading to enhance visual quality
- →Shape edits with strong pacing, narrative flow, and storytelling instincts
- →Provide clear and actionable feedback to the host on camera framing, lighting, and recording improvements
- →Remotely assist with camera setup and production best practices when needed
- →Take creative ownership of edits and proactively recommend improvements
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience editing video and podcast content
- ✓Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling, pacing, and editorial judgment
- ✓Proficiency with professional video editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
- ✓Experience with color correction and grading
- ✓Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
- ✓Comfort providing direct, constructive feedback to improve recordings
- ✓Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely
- ✓Fluent in English (written and verbal)
