About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer specializing in web scraping to join our team at NIQ Digital shelf. This role focuses on collecting and processing large volumes of data from various web and mobile sources to provide actionable insights for top retailers and brands.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and build distributed scraping architectures that can scale across thousands of domains.
- →Reverse engineer APIs and mobile apps using tools like Frida, mitmproxy, Charles Proxy, and burp.
- →Detect common anti-bot measures to build crawlers that appear more human-like.
- →Lead technical innovation in scraping by identifying edge cases, prototyping new approaches, and sharing knowledge with the team.
- →Set up anomaly detection and monitoring to detect blockers or failures early.
Requirements
- ✓Experience in designing and building distributed systems.
- ✓Proficiency in reverse engineering APIs and mobile apps.
- ✓Knowledge of anti-bot measures and techniques to bypass them.
- ✓Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think like a hacker.
