About the Role
We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our team at Ninja Van, a tech-enabled logistics company. This role will act as in-house corporate counsel ensuring legal compliance across all company operations and will be permanently stationed at the company's head office, reporting directly to the Head of Legal.
Key Responsibilities
- →Review, draft, and negotiate agreements and contracts
- →Adapt company contract templates to client and departmental requirements
- →Prepare, review, and draft corporate and legal documents
- →Provide legal support within the legal department and cross-functionally
- →Support compliance with company policies, procedures, and instructions
- →Represent the company in legal actions or cases
- →Assist in ensuring compliance with governmental requirements
- →Identify and research legal issues and assess business impact
- →Offer counsel on legal issues and advise company executives
- →Work with other departments on contract status, legal risks, and liabilities
- →Review advertising and marketing materials for legal compliance
- →Provide training to the company on legal topics
Requirements
- ✓Experience in contract drafting and negotiation
- ✓Knowledge of corporate law and legal compliance
- ✓Ability to conduct legal research and assess business impact
- ✓Experience providing legal counsel and advice to executives
- ✓Ability to work cross-functionally with various departments
- ✓Experience reviewing marketing materials for legal compliance
- ✓Willingness to perform additional legal tasks as assigned
