About the Role
Nitro is seeking a QA Engineer to transform extensive Java UI and C++ unit test suites into a modern performance testing platform. This role will enable our engineering teams to advance products rapidly while maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- →Modernize test frameworks to improve reliability, performance, and maintainability
- →Expand platform coverage across multiple operating systems
- →Optimize test suite performance through parallelization and efficient resource utilization
- →Scale CI/CD pipelines with seamless integration
- →Implement monitoring and self-healing capabilities

- →Set technical direction for testing capabilities
Requirements
- ✓5+ years as a QA engineer with 2+ years in senior/infrastructure roles
- ✓Experience modernizing legacy test suites with UI and unit testing
- ✓Strong programming skills in Java and C++
- ✓Systems engineering knowledge of Windows, macOS, Linux, and CMake
- ✓CI/CD proficiency with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI
- ✓Performance optimization through parallelization and distributed testing
- ✓Test automation tools experience (JUnit, TestNG, Google Test, Selenium)
- ✓Problem-solving and project leadership abilities
- ✓Collaboration skills with engineering, infrastructure, and QA teams
- ✓Agile experience with Git, GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence
