About the Role

Nium is seeking a senior leader for its KYB/KYC Compliance function. This role involves strategic oversight, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration to shape how compliance scales across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

→Lead the onboarding of highly complex organizations and financial institutions
→Refine and enhance onboarding procedures across the Group
→Streamline compliance operations through automation and machine learning
→Define and execute the strategic direction of KYB/KYC operations
→Act as the primary liaison with MLROs, regulators, and external partners
→Prepare and present key reports to Senior Management and Compliance Committees
→Oversee training initiatives and build team capabilities
→Monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure performance benchmarks are met
→Ensure all reviews and investigations are properly documented

Requirements

✓Minimum 10-12 years of experience in KYB, complex organizations & FI’s onboarding
✓Ability to work in a highly regulated environment
✓Good understanding of the Payments/Fintech industry
✓ACAMS certification preferred but not mandatory
✓Strong Interpersonal and English communication skills
✓Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
✓Team player with the ability to work independently
✓Attention to detail and efficiency
✓Experience with Advanced MS-Excel including Macros
✓Knowledge with data analytics
✓Willingness to learn continuously
✓Experience to build, lead, and motivate a Compliance Operations team
