About the Role
We are looking for an Android Engineer to join our Mobile Platform team at Notion. You'll help build a best-in-class mobile app by developing services, frameworks, and shared UI components for Android.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop services, frameworks, and shared UI components for Android
- →Set the direction for how features should be built on Android
- →Improve the performance, reliability, and polish of our Android app
- →Drive developer velocity through improvements to our build systems, mobile CI/CD, and release process
Requirements
- ✓Thoughtful problem-solving and ability to decompose tricky problems
- ✓Ability to ship quality apps at scale for a large audience
- ✓Not ideological about technology and willing to learn new technologies
- ✓Empathetic communication and ability to explain technical decisions clearly
- ✓Team player who enjoys collaborating cross-functionally
- ✓Comfortable using AI tools like Claude Code or Codex
