Role Octus is currently seeking an Account Manager to join our Legal Account Management team. The Account Manager will manage and cultivate strong relationships with AmLaw200 accounts throughout the East Coast, with a focus on subscription renewals, expansion, uplifts, and cross-selling of additional Octus products. This full-time position is based in our New York City office, on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office per week). Responsibilities: • Manage all aspects of the renewal cycle for a book of existing AmLaw200 clients • Drive key client interactions, with a focus on identifying and capitalizing on expansion opportunities within accounts, aiming for a net retention target of 115%+ • Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure the delivery of exceptional client service and an unparalleled customer experience • Work closely with Octus’ product team to identify and opportunities for product enhancements • Employ meticulous tracking and analysis of KPIs and product usage on accounts to formulate and implement appropriate relationship management strategies and territory planning Requirements: • 4+ years of progressive experience in an account management role, specializing in B2B solutions for large law firms. Experience selling data solutions is preferred. • Strong ability to cultivate relationships and forge strategic business partnerships. • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding quota and retention targets. • Exceptional organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritize and respond promptly to multiple ongoing workstreams. • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a proven aptitude for conveying complex ideas clearly and concisely. • Willingness to travel for client meetings throughout the assigned territory. • Experience with Salesforce. • JD preferred. Please note that the salary range information below is a good faith estimate for this position and actual compensation for any individual may fall outside this range if warranted by the circumstances applicable to that individual. If we identify a role that would be suitable for a broader range of skills and experience such that we would consider hiring at multiple levels then the range listed below may reflect that breadth. The base salary range estimate for this position is $140,000-$160,000. The actual compensation will be at Octus’ sole discretion and will be determined by the aforementioned and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for additional commission-based compensation.
