About the Role
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join GameScorekeeper, following our acquisition by Oddin.gg. This role involves working on high-performance data feeds and integrating into the Oddin.gg ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- →Take ownership of our infrastructure and work closely with development teams in Aarhus and Prague
- →Plan and implement reliability improvements to existing systems
- →Maintain and optimize Docker-based deployment workflows on GitHub and AWS
- →Manage SQL databases (mainly MySQL) to ensure data integrity and high availability
- →Act as the DevOps link between GameScorekeeper’s Aarhus-based team and the Oddin.gg infrastructure team
- →Participate in on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 mission-critical data feeds remain operational
Requirements
- ✓At least 2-3 years of professional experience in a DevOps role or equivalent
- ✓Strong proficiency with Docker, AWS, GitHub, SQL, and to some extent Java
- ✓Fluent in English with ability to discuss complex infrastructure with international stakeholders
- ✓Proactive mindset with ability to identify potential issues and implement solutions
