About the Role
We are looking for a Head of Engineering and India Leader for the Auth0 Product Unit. This individual will serve as the senior-most engineering leader in-region, responsible for shaping the culture, alignment, and long-term strategic growth of our India engineering site.
Key Responsibilities
- →Serve as the executive engineering presence for Auth0 India, fostering a culture of excellence, trust, inclusion, and innovation.
- →Define and implement Auth0’s engineering operating rhythm, technical leadership forums, communication cadences, and mechanisms that strengthen alignment across distributed teams.
- →Partner closely with global engineering, Product Management, Security, Design, Program Management, and other cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive strategy, prioritization, and execution.
- →Lead the development of engineering talent in India by coaching managers, providing structured growth pathways, driving succession planning, and elevating technical leadership capabilities.
- →Act as the senior escalation point for engineering issues originating in or impacting Auth0 India.
- →Manage senior engineering leaders in India, including the Director responsible for Developer Integrations, while enabling them to drive their portfolios with autonomy and accountability.
Requirements
- ✓Proven success as a senior engineering leader, with experience growing and scaling high-performing, geographically distributed teams.
- ✓Demonstrated ability to build culture, inspire teams, and lead through influence as much as authority.
- ✓Strong cross-functional leadership skills and experience collaborating with global Product, Security, and Design organizations.
- ✓15+ years of experience in software engineering, including extensive leadership of SaaS product engineering teams.
- ✓Deep experience in full-stack development and familiarity with modern architectures, DevOps practices, tooling, performance, and security.
