About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to join OLX and manage the portfolio of OLX Group programs across all business units. This role will provide hands-on program management when product delivery and integration span organizational boundaries.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead large-scale cross-functional programs through design, development, and market launch across all European OLX classified products.
- →Collaborate with engineering and product leaders across Group and business units to ensure work is aligned with strategic priorities.
- →Prioritize programs, develop deliverables schedules, track external dependencies and commitments, manage stakeholders.
- →Manage programs to success, determining and mitigating risks, assessing and communicating status, providing programs visibility.
- →Establish and apply a governance framework that works across business units and functional areas for driving decision making.
- →Track program performance using success metrics, anticipate risks, resolve issues, and collaborate to fine tune programs as needed.
- →Manage a portfolio of programs using tools and analytics to ensure programs are meeting business unit and Group goals across OLX.
- →Work closely with the leadership team.
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- ✓7+ years in software program management, including managing significant cross functional projects in mid-size or large companies using industry standard software development methodologies.
- ✓Experience operating at scale, e.g., with teams and products around the world, in fast growing consumer markets.
- ✓Experience working directly with executive teams.
- ✓High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- ✓Background in developing and/or applying a governance framework for decision making.
- ✓Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
