About the Role

MG OMD is looking for a Paid Social Account Manager to lead the paid social account for one of the UK’s most iconic retail brands. This role involves taking ownership of a high-profile, fast-paced client that sits at the heart of British retail culture.

Key Responsibilities

→Support the implementation and optimisation of paid social campaigns across major platforms including Meta, TikTok and Snap
→Translate media plans and strategic direction into effective day-to-day activation
→Monitor performance and make informed recommendations to improve results
→Support testing and innovation through structured test-and-learn frameworks
→Contribute to paid social input for planning work and pitches where required
→Act as the day-to-day client lead, providing clear updates, recommendations and guidance
→Work closely with Account Directors and senior team members to deliver against account objectives
→Collaborate with other specialist teams to support integrated planning and activation
→Communicate performance updates, insights and recommended actions clearly
→Build strong working relationships with platform partners and vendors
→Support delivery of paid social activity in line with commercial agreements, budgets and forecasts
→Monitor budget pacing and performance daily, escalating risks or issues when required
→Contribute to accurate forecasting, reporting and end-of-period reconciliation
→Follow established QA, audit and governance processes to ensure compliant and high-quality output
→Support audit readiness by maintaining accurate documentation and responding to audit requests

Requirements

✓Hands-on experience with paid social platforms including Meta, TikTok and Snap
✓Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor performance and make data-driven recommendations
✓Experience in client relationship management and communication
✓Understanding of commercial agreements, budgets and forecasts
✓Knowledge of QA, audit and governance processes
