Product Manager (Hands-on, QA / Testing) at Onhires

PRODUCT MANAGER (HANDS-ON, QA / TESTING) Remote (EU timezone preferred) ABOUT THE COMPANY Our client is a fast-growing, remote-first technology scale-up building market intelligence and software solutions for the automotive industry, with a strong focus on the tire sector. ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for a Product Manager who will take ownership of day-to-day product execution and delivery, working closely with the Head of Product. This is a product-first role with strong ownership over backlog, priorities, and releases. At the same time, it requires hands-on involvement in product quality - including manual testing and contribution to E2E testing practices. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to both product decisions and product quality, and prefers execution over pure strategy. What You’ll Do Product Ownership & Delivery - Own and manage the product backlog, priorities, and sprint planning - Translate business needs, customer feedback, and market insights into clear product requirements - Work closely with Engineering, Design, and stakeholders to drive delivery - Support release planning and ensure smooth product launches - Contribute to shaping the product roadmap together with the Head of Product Product Quality & Testing - Ensure product quality through hands-on involvement in testing - Perform manual testing for new features and releases when needed - Collaborate with engineers on improving E2E testing coverage - Help define and improve testing processes and quality standards - Documentation & Communication - Maintain clear product documentation (requirements, feature specs, internal knowledge base) - Communicate product updates and changes to internal stakeholders - Support transparency and alignment across teams Your Profile - 2+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or similar roles in SaaS or software environments - Experience working closely with engineering teams in Agile environments - Solid understanding of software testing principles (manual + E2E) - Hands-on mindset - comfortable being involved in testing and product execution - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ownership mentality and proactive approach to problem-solving - Good understanding of UI/UX and product quality - Fluent English Nice to have: - Hands-on experience writing or maintaining E2E tests - Background in QA, Business Analysis, or Technical roles - What This Role Is - A product role with strong ownership over delivery and execution - A hands-on position where product quality is part of your responsibility What This Role Is Not Not a pure QA or testing position Not a purely strategic Product role without execution What’s in it for you High-impact role in a growing product company Remote-first setup with flexibility Close collaboration with product leadership Ownership and autonomy in decision-making International, product-driven team Learning and development support Application Process If this sounds like your kind of role, we’d love to hear from you.
