The Head of Marketing - Mexico role will report to the Head of Marketing, LATAM. As a key member of the LATAM marketing team, you will own the marketing strategy for the Mexico market, bringing together global brand campaigns, product storytelling, and local initiatives to drive business growth. You will work cross-functionally to maximize marketingβs commercial impact, while ensuring the On brand shows up consistently and powerfully across all channels. This is a highly collaborative, strategic role that requires strong leadership, executional excellence, deep knowledge and experience across the marketing landscape in Mexico and a passion for delivering integrated consumer experiences.
Your Mission:
- Build and execute the fully integrated Mexico marketing strategy by vertical, aligning global brand campaigns with regional business needs and local market insights
- Partner cross-functionally with Lat Am Commercial/Sales, Merchandising, and DMS/DTC teams to adapt and execute marketing plans that maximize impact across the region
- Act as the primary voice for Mexico POV within global campaign teams, providing local insights, feedback, and localization needs, while supporting Lat Am-specific OKRs
- Collaborate with the Americas Integrated Campaigns team to ensure local needs are reflected and amplified in broader regional campaigns and appropriate budget and resource are dedicated to achieve OKRβs
- Support the adaptation and execution of regional βAlways Onβ strategies, ensuring global brand campaigns drive lower-funnel and market-specific initiatives across Lat Am
- Execute the regional implementation of priority brand stories across Lat Am channels, supporting project strategy, stakeholder alignment, and budget management
- Identify regional gaps in plans, anticipate cross-functional needs, and proactively partner to build and implement solutions for Lat Am markets
- Lead, support, and mentor a growing Mexico Marketing team to achieve personal and professional goals
- Collaborate with the Sales, Happiness Delivery (Customer Service), Operations, Controlling and Finance teams to establish and follow a holistic approach in servicing and supporting retail partners, Always keeping in mind the brand strategy and health of the overall business
Your Story:
- 8+ years of experience building and executing integrated, multi-channel marketing programs across digital, media, influencer partnerships, events, and retail environments, with a strong focus on premium environments and commercial impact
- Deep understanding of Mexican sportswear, lifestyle and fashion landscape including consumer journeys, segmentation, product lifecycles, and sales/retail channels within diverse communities
- You are based in Mexico City and are fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to connect authentically with our Latin American consumers and partners and communicate regularly with regional and global leadership teams
- Skilled at adapting global marketing strategies to local market needs, balancing creative innovation with business priorities
- Passionate about staying current on regional consumer trends, emerging marketing tactics, and cultural insights
- Clear and strategic communicator, capable of setting priorities, aligning stakeholders, retail and commercial partners, and delivering against deadlines in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Willingness to travel up to 25% to Onβs global hubs and focus markets to support key launches, market activations, and cross-functional meetings and collaboration
