About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer with strong experience in PHP and Laravel to help design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable server-side applications. This role plays a key part in ensuring system performance, stability, and long-term maintainability across a growing digital health ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- →Take ownership of backend services and APIs
- →Troubleshoot complex production issues
- →Optimize database performance
- →Contribute to architectural decisions
- →Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of professional experience with PHP and Laravel
- ✓Solid knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
- ✓Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs
- ✓Ability to write automated API tests
- ✓Experience with Git and collaborative workflows (GitHub)
- ✓Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- ✓Experience with Docker
- ✓Familiarity with AWS or other cloud environments
- ✓Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Rollbar, CloudWatch)
- ✓Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- ✓Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
