Product Manager, API Model Behavior at Openai

About the Role

We are looking for a Model Behavior Product Manager to join the OpenAI API team. This role involves defining and guiding the future of how our AI models behave in real-world applications, setting priorities, and driving improvements to model capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• →Define strategic priorities and roadmap for improving model behavior for API users
• →Partner with research and engineering teams to translate goals into model capability improvements
• →Launch OpenAI’s frontier models in the API and expose their capabilities to users
• →Develop methodologies, tools, and processes for evaluating and iterating on model behavior
• →Synthesize user research and feedback into targeted improvements in AI models
• →Establish and iterate on metrics that reflect model quality and user experience at scale
