The Solutions Engineer fills an essential role at Optimove. The role is a perfect fit for those with a technical background and exceptional communication and presentation skills. If you're naturally curious, love solving problems, and get excited about technology β this is the role where you'll grow fastest.
You will work with the Sales team (primarily supporting the Brazilian Market) to answer technical questions, lead integration discussions, and product deep dives. You will help us think of creative solutions for our future customers, especially when it comes to how the disparate pieces of the MarTech landscape can best work together. You will become an Optimove product and MarTech landscape expert. Along the way, you'll be mentored by experienced engineers and have real ownership from day one.
You will assist in answering RFPs and in education efforts for the whole Sales team. You will be required to be innovative in showing the client how the platform can be configured to meet their needs, and to communicate the technical parts of our product in a way that is clear, compelling, and concise. Interpersonal skills are as valuable as technical skills in this role. We are looking for a strong team player with a solid work ethic, highly developed time management skills, and an ability to thrive within a rapidly expanding company on the cutting edge of marketing technology.
Responsibilities:
β’ Provide product expert support to the new business (sales) team
β’ Conduct tech calls as part of new business cycles
β’ Master Optimove's products and technologies and become the go-to resource for any technical questions that arise as part of new business cycles
β’ Support the completion of RFPs
β’ Present deep product demos to prospects
β’ Understand our clients' technical and business needs
β’ Work closely with Data Science and Product Integration teams to maintain a tight connection between the "Front Stage" and "Back Stage"
β’ Support onboarding and ongoing education for the new business team, especially as it relates to the product
β’ Attend conferences as needed
β’ Continuously develop your MarTech expertise β we invest in your learning
Requirements:
β’ Experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions, or consulting role β or equivalent hands-on experience (internships, projects, or a fast-paced startup count)
β’ Fluency in English and Portuguese (business & technical) β must
β’ Fluency in Spanish is a huge plus
β’ Technical background either from education or work experience (MarTech experience a plus)
β’ Able to communicate about technology clearly and coherently, even with non-technical audiences
β’ Self-driven and hungry to grow β you seek feedback, take ownership, and don't wait to be told what to do
β’ You ramp up quickly and adapt well when things change (and in MarTech, they always do)
β’ Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
β’ Comfortable with ambiguity β you find the path forward even when the playbook isn't written yet
β’ Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
