Tech Lead Company Orcrist Technologies builds modern data platforms for intelligence and investigative applications. We’re bringing advanced signal processing, sensor fusion, and AI capabilities to support European defense and intelligence missions. Role Lead the technical development of our SIGINT, and optronic sensor capabilities. You’ll architect signal processing pipelines, mentor engineers, and work directly with defense customers to deliver operational intelligence solutions. This role combines deep SIGINT domain expertise with technical leadership of a specialized engineering team. What you'll do • Architect signal processing pipelines for SIGINT, and optronic sensors • Lead technical design of sensor data ingestion and analysis systems • Provide domain expertise on electronic warfare and signal intelligence • Mentor engineering team on RF signal processing and sensor fusion • Design algorithms for signal detection, classification, and geolocation • Collaborate with customers on requirements • Evaluate and integrate military sensor systems and data formats • Contribute to critical signal processing components • Guide technical roadmap for sensor intelligence platform About you • 7+ years experience with SIGINT, or military sensor systems • 3+ years technical leadership or senior engineering role • Expert knowledge of electronic warfare and signal intelligence concepts • Strong RF signal processing and DSP fundamentals • Proficiency in Python and C++ for signal processing • Experience with classified systems and defense customers • Built operational signal intelligence systems • Knowledge of radar, emitter characteristics, and electronic signatures • Experience with software-defined radio platforms Nice‑to‑haves • German language skills • Advanced degree in electrical engineering or physics • Military service (signals intelligence, EW, radar) • SIGINT collection systems experience • Sensor fusion and multi-INT correlation experience • Embedded Linux experience • Government contract delivery experience What We Offer • Lead new technical domain in growing defense tech company • Modern engineering practices vs. traditional defense contractors • Build and mentor specialized engineering team • Remote-first with quarterly Berlin meetups • Learning budget • 30 days vacation • Flexible working hours • Impact on important missions
