About the Role
We are looking for a PowerShell Developer to join our team at Orion Innovation. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automation scripts and solutions using PowerShell, with a strong focus on installation processes and infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities
- →Designing and developing PowerShell scripts to automate installation processes, configure systems, and deploy software across diverse environments.
- →Automating system administration tasks, including managing user accounts, implementing group policies, and configuring server roles and features.
- →Developing and maintaining PowerShell modules and functions to standardize and streamline script development.
- →Automating software deployment using PowerShell scripts and package management solutions like Chocolatey.
- →Managing data using SQL and Oracle databases through PowerShell.
- →Implementing email systems and managing file server permissions using PowerShell.
- →Working with DevOps tools and cloud platforms to integrate PowerShell scripts into CI/CD pipelines and deploy solutions on Azure or AWS.
- →Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to PowerShell scripts and automated installations.
- →Creating and maintaining documentation for PowerShell solutions.
Requirements
- ✓Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, including cmdlets, objects, the pipeline, and error handling mechanisms.
- ✓Solid understanding of Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and IIS.
- ✓Experience with automation in enterprise environments.
- ✓Familiarity with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure.
- ✓Knowledge of DevOps practices and experience using tools like Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
- ✓Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- ✓Strong communication and collaboration skills.
