About the Role
We are looking for a Front End Engineer to join Orion Innovation, a global business and technology services firm. This role focuses on developing high-quality, production-ready front-end applications using React and NextJS.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop exceptional prototypes and high-quality, production-ready React/NextJS front-end single-page applications
- →Advocate for quality by ensuring excellence in code, unit testing, accessibility, and performance
- →Collaborate within an Agile workstream alongside talented front-end developers
- →Engage in meaningful discussions with both technical and non-technical colleagues
- →Create modular layouts, reusable code, and libraries
- →Contribute to both existing and new integrations for our dynamic platform
Requirements
- ✓Demonstrated commercial experience in hands-on React development
- ✓Experience with serverless and server-side development using NextJS
- ✓Strong command of state management technologies like Redux or Flux
- ✓Familiarity with TypeScript
- ✓Extensive experience with semantic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- ✓Experience with unit, end-to-end, and regression testing
- ✓Solid understanding of Agile methodologies
- ✓Experience in component development using Storybook
- ✓Knowledge of current front-end architecture trends and best practices
- ✓Commercial experience using Git within a large development team
- ✓Excellent communication skills
- ✓Proficient understanding of fluid responsive layouts and cross-browser compatibility
- ✓Commercial experience working on SPA solutions
- ✓Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- ✓Willingness to contribute to both large and small projects
- ✓Experience integrating with external systems
