About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Platform Engineer to build, maintain, and advance our products' data infrastructure. You will be the key technical engineer for our databases and middleware, focusing on high availability, performance tuning, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and maintain the health and performance of our database clusters and middleware.
- →Resolve complex bottlenecks and perform deep-dive troubleshooting.
- →Improve our infrastructure through automation and modern tooling.
- →Ensure full visibility into system health and data integrity.
Requirements
- ✓5+ years in infrastructure, specifically supporting mission-critical data layers.
- ✓Deep knowledge of Linux internals and tuning the OS for high-performance database and I/O workloads.
- ✓Hands-on proficiency with MySQL or MariaDB (replication, clustering, and tuning).
- ✓Experience running and scaling Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch.
- ✓Experience with Kubernetes, its ecosystem, and related tooling.
- ✓Practical experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, PMM.
- ✓A "code-first" approach to managing infrastructure (Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
- ✓Fluency in English: Excellent at communicating in spoken and written.
