About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Data Product Manager to join Palmetto, a leading clean tech company focused on accelerating the transition to clean energy. This role involves building new data products and an AI-first platform, leading a team, and driving strategic product growth.

Key Responsibilities

→Iterate and scale 0-1 platform products, data schema, and architecture
→Create intuitive tools for energy data exploration and HITL workflows
→Synthesize fragmented consumer energy data into actionable insights
→Define quality standards for models, workflows, and data
→Advocate for customers, businesses, and tech teams
→Communicate proactively with external customers and stakeholders
→Manage team processes for quality delivery at speed
→Lead prioritization and planning efforts including OKRs and roadmaps

Requirements

✓5-8 years of product management experience with AI systems, data platforms, or ML teams
✓Experience implementing agentic AI systems and evaluating nondeterministic products
✓Full stack product development experience with AI prototyping tools
✓Data fluency with SQL and algorithm-based products
✓Strong writing and communication skills for PRDs and vision docs
✓Experience identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks
✓Growth mindset with bias toward action and experimentation
