About the Role
We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer to join our team at Panopto, the leader in visual and audio-based learning technology. In this role, you will help define and build the next generation of AI-powered learning experiences across our platform.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define technical direction and architecture for AI-powered features across Panopto
- →Lead the design and implementation of AI integrations with LLM providers
- →Establish patterns and best practices for prompt design, evaluation workflows, and safety guardrails
- →Build end-to-end AI solutions from exploring models to designing data flows and implementing services
- →Lead hands-on prototyping and delivery of AI-centric initiatives
- →Own experiments and prototypes through to production-quality implementations
- →Act as a multiplier for other teams by sharing best practices for AI engineering
- →Help classical software engineers become AI bridge engineers
- →Contribute to internal documentation and reference implementations
- →Partner with product management to shape AI initiatives
- →Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and operations teams
Requirements
- ✓Proven track record of shipping AI-powered capabilities
- ✓Deep understanding of LLM providers like Anthropic
- ✓Experience with prompt design, evaluation workflows, and safety guardrails
- ✓Ability to build end-to-end AI solutions
- ✓Experience with prototyping and delivery of AI-centric initiatives
- ✓Strong mentorship and enablement skills
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
