About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Content Generation Team at Panopto. This role involves managing a team of 5-6 developers and collaborating closely with Product Management to ensure our AI models and content pipelines are built robustly and securely.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage and grow an experienced team with multiple senior/principal engineers
- →Lead efforts to identify and improve architectural problems in the current codebase
- →Provide guidance and a plan for maturing our codebase and systems
- →Work hands-on with senior and principal engineers on system architecture and technical decision-making
- →Ensure effective task distribution and delivery across teams
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- ✓Multiple years of experience working on complex projects
- ✓Strong experience with technologies like Node.js, React, MongoDB
- ✓People management for teams of 4+ engineers
- ✓Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- ✓Technical expertise in distributed and scalable system architecture
- ✓Learning, technical curiosity, and ability to rapidly build expertise in new areas
