About the Role

Patreon is seeking a Fullstack Engineer, Tax to join their team and support their mission of funding the creative class. This role involves scaling and expanding Patreon's tax platform to enable creators to run compliant, sustainable businesses globally.

Key Responsibilities

→Scale and expand Patreon's tax platform
→Lead and contribute to the development and design of tax systems
→Partner with product managers, designers, tax operations, and other engineers to build new finance-related solutions
→Lead development of full-stack features with a focus on modern frontend technologies
→Support Tax Operations and Compliance teams by debugging complex data issues
→Contribute to a strong product-oriented engineering culture

Requirements

✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
✓3+ years of experience in software development
✓Experience designing, building, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining code in a service-oriented architecture
✓Proactive in communicating with peers and cross-functional partners
✓Experience building products in the payments & tax domain is a plus
