About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join Patreon's Community team. This role focuses on building the core spaces where creators and fans interact in real time, including Patreon Live, Chats, Comments, Reactions, Drops, and emerging collaboration features.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own and deliver well-scoped full stack product feature milestones that help creators create content on Patreon
- →Drive technical design of components that are scalable, well tested and easy to maintain
- →Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, designers, and other engineers to deliver high quality features
- →Champion innovative solutions that enhance usability and engagement with discovery features
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience in software development
- ✓Experience with React, next.js, Typescript or Javascript
- ✓Experience with Python or a similar language
- ✓Experience with SQL
- ✓Solid communication skills with cross-functional team members
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or the equivalent
