<p><strong style="font-size: 18px;">Role Overview:<br><br></strong>The Software Engineer III is a senior engineering role responsible for designing, building, and evolving<br>scalable, high-performance software systems. This position partners closely with product, architecture,<br>and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver reliable backend services, modern cloud-native<br>applications, and AI-enabled capabilities that improve business outcomes. The role requires strong<br>technical ownership, sound system design, and the ability to mentor other engineers. Key Responsibilities
β’ Lead system design and technical implementation for complex features, with emphasis on reliability,
performance, maintainability, and security.
β’ Develop and enhance cloud-native solutions using AWS and modern deployment practices such as
CI/CD, containerization, and observability.
β’ Integrate AI and generative AI capabilities into products and platforms, including intelligent workflows,
automation, and context-aware user experiences.
β’ Collaborate with product managers, UX, architects, and operations teams to translate business needs
into production-ready technical solutions.
β’ Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, design guidance, and engineering best practices.
β’ Drive continuous improvement in software quality, development standards, operational readiness, and
technical documentation.
β’ Contribute to troubleshooting, performance optimization, and root-cause analysis across development
and production environments.
β’ Design and build scalable enterprise applications, backend services, and APIs that support
high-availability workloads.
Qualifications
β’ 8+ years of software engineering experience, with demonstrated success delivering production-grade
applications and backend systems.
β’ Strong backend development experience using technologies such as .NET / C#, Java, Python, or
similar server-side platforms.
β’ Hands-on experience with SQL Server or other relational databases, including schema design, query
optimization, and data access patterns.
β’ Proven experience building scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
β’ Strong knowledge of software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented design, testing,
code quality, and secure development practices.
β’ Experience working in cloud environments, with AWS preferred.
β’ Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in agile engineering teams.
β’ Experience integrating AI / ML or generative AI capabilities into software products and business
workflows.
β’ Working knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt design, retrieval-augmented
generation (RAG), and AI service orchestration.
β’ Familiarity with building intelligent assistants, workflow automation, recommendation features, or
agent-based systems.
β’ Understanding of vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, and data pipelines that support
AI-driven experiences.
β’ Awareness of responsible AI practices, including evaluation, monitoring, safety, privacy, and
governance considerations.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience with modern DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring
platforms.
β’ Exposure to both Windows and Linux environments, scripting, and production support practices.
β’ Experience working on enterprise, SaaS, retail, payments, or transactional systems is a plus.
β’ Ability to influence technical direction, break down ambiguous problems, and independently drive
initiatives to completion.
