About the Role
We are looking for a Platform Engineer to join our growing infrastructure team at PermitFlow. You will be responsible for building, scaling, and fine-tuning the systems that keep our services running smoothly, focusing on automation, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- →Architect, design, and implement secure, scalable, and cost-efficient infrastructure solutions
- →Design and implement backend and frontend services, APIs, and data pipelines
- →Own features end-to-end, from architecture and implementation to testing and production deployment
- →Develop and maintain automation through Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines
- →Monitor, optimize, and scale our cloud infrastructure for performance and reliability
- →Establish and enforce best practices for observability, logging, and alerting
- →Lead and participate in incident response, troubleshooting complex issues
- →Collaborate across engineering teams to improve developer velocity
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience in Platform, Site Reliability, Infrastructure, or similar roles
- ✓Strong experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes a plus)
- ✓Expertise with CI/CD pipelines and modern infrastructure automation tools
- ✓Coding and scripting proficiency (Python, Go, Bash, etc.)
- ✓Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred) and distributed systems
- ✓Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and incident management best practices
- ✓Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
