About the Role
PermitFlow is an applied AI company transforming the construction industry by helping builders navigate permitting, licensing, inspections, and project closeouts. We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our team and help build the AI infrastructure that accelerates housing, clean-energy, and infrastructure development across the country.
Key Responsibilities
- →Transform complex, manual permitting workflows into seamless, AI-enabled software experiences
- →Design and implement backend and frontend services, APIs, and data pipelines to support AI-driven workflows
- →Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Customer Success, and Sales to deliver intelligent, user-facing features
- →Work directly with users to shape product direction and rapidly ship features that drive impact
- →Own features end-to-end, from architecture and implementation to testing and production deployment
- →Help establish engineering best practices and contribute to a culture of technical excellence
Requirements
- ✓Strong experience in fullstack development, ideally including time at a startup or fast-moving team
- ✓Comfortable owning features across frontend, backend, and data layers
- ✓Experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Postgres, or ability to learn quickly
- ✓Track record of shipping production systems and making thoughtful trade-offs for speed, reliability, and scalability
- ✓Excitement for AI-powered tools that solve real-world construction challenges and a customer-first mindset
