About the Role
We are looking for a Game Art Director to lead the visual development of games, creating unique identities and overseeing all aspects of game art production.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead the concept and design of games, providing unique visual identities for each project
- →Create initial graphical maquettes and complete 2D game art, including characters, UI, symbols, screens, backgrounds, and marketing materials
- →Guide the design team, ensuring alignment with the product vision and technical requirements
- →Review and measure designers’ performance, offering constructive feedback and fostering growth
- →Collaborate closely with game producers, developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality assets on schedule
- →Oversee the animation and 3D modelling process, approving samples and suggesting improvements
- →Optimize final game packages for performance and file size
- →Present graphic elements for management approval and report progress to leadership
- →Solve visual and functional challenges creatively throughout the game development process
- →Manage communication with stakeholders, including game owners and external partners
