About the Role
We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join Pluralis Research, a company pioneering Protocol Learning—a decentralized approach to AI model training and deployment. You'll work on implementing and optimizing low-bandwidth model-parallel training systems that enable distributed language model development.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and optimize systems for distributed training across heterogeneous hardware
- →Implement techniques to reduce communication overhead in challenging network environments
- →Design robust training pipelines that can recover from node failures and network disruptions
- →Create efficient systems for deploying sharded models in a protocol-locked environment
- →Develop tools to track training progress and identify bottlenecks in distributed environments
Requirements
- ✓Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- ✓Several years of hands-on ML engineering experience
- ✓Strong understanding of model parallelism techniques and distributed training architectures
- ✓Expert-level skills in PyTorch or similar frameworks
- ✓Familiarity with networking concepts and distributed computing principles
