About the Role
Point72 is seeking motivated students to join our Global Information Security team for a summer internship program. You'll gain hands-on experience in financial services cybersecurity while protecting one of the world's leading investment firms.
Key Responsibilities
- →Monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats targeting global trading infrastructure
- →Gain exposure to leading security tools and technologies
- →Work with cloud security architecture across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
- →Learn identity and access management systems protecting sensitive financial data
- →Develop understanding of application security and secure development practices
- →Participate in risk assessment and regulatory compliance activities
- →Support global trading operations with 24/7 availability requirements
Requirements
- ✓Expected bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or related field between Fall 2025 and Spring 2026
- ✓Foundational understanding of computer networking, security concepts, and risk management
- ✓Data analysis and scripting experience with Python
- ✓Understanding of security fundamentals including authentication, encryption, and access control
- ✓Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- ✓Strong analytical, writing, verbal communication, and technical skills
- ✓Commitment to professional ethics and integrity
