About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer Intern to join Point72’s Technology team. This internship provides hands-on experience in developing software applications that support asset management functions in a fast-paced hedge fund environment.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and enhance software applications for trading systems, research platforms, and data analysis tools
- →Conduct code reviews and maintain existing codebases
- →Utilize technologies like AI, machine learning, big data, and cloud computing to solve complex problems
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with business goals
- →Document and present design decisions, code, and functionalities

Requirements
- ✓Expected Bachelor’s degree between Fall 2026 and Spring 2027
- ✓Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C++, or similar languages
- ✓Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools (e.g., Git, JIRA)
- ✓Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- ✓Strong attention to detail and analytical, writing, verbal communication, and technical skills
