About the Role
Join point72’s Market Intelligence team as a Platform DevOps Intern, supporting the development and operation of internal data and research infrastructure. You'll work alongside senior DevOps engineers, data engineers, and researchers to build reliable systems that power research workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation using tools such as Jenkins and Git
- →Support containerized applications and Kubernetes-based deployments
- →Maintain and improve cloud infrastructure on AWS, including compute, storage, networking, and IAM configurations
- →Write and maintain Python and Bash scripts for automation, monitoring, and operational tasks
- →Work on Infrastructure as Code and configuration management projects using Terraform and Ansible
- →Monitor, log, and troubleshoot production systems
- →Collaborate with engineers and researchers to improve developer experience and platform reliability
Requirements
- ✓Working knowledge of Python and SQL
- ✓Comfort with Linux/Unix environments and basic Bash scripting
- ✓Exposure to Docker or other container technologies
- ✓Familiarity with Git and standard version control workflows
- ✓Understanding of core computer science fundamentals (processes, networking basics, data structures)
- ✓Interest in DevOps, infrastructure, and automation
- ✓Willingness to learn new tools, frameworks, and technologies
- ✓Commitment to the highest ethical and compliance standards
