About the Role
We are looking for a C#/.NET Core Developer to join Point72’s Technology team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs to support our multi-billion-dollar global business.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance C#/.NET Core APIs and backend services.
- →Build and optimize data models, queries, and database performance.
- →Ensure service reliability and availability by managing SLAs, monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- →Collaborate closely with UI developers, Quality Assurance, and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features.
- →Write clean, maintainable code with strong unit test coverage.
- →Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making.
- →Manage UAT environments, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines.
- →Monitor application health, performance, and logs using observability tools.
- →Contribute to DevOps automation, infrastructure improvements, and operational best practices.
- →Provide support for production issues, including timely critical bug fixes and incident resolution.
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- ✓10+ years of experience in backend or server-side development.
- ✓Strong proficiency in C#/.NET Core and RESTful API design.
- ✓Proven experience ensuring service reliability and availability through SLA management, monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- ✓Hands-on experience with MongoDB and SQL Server, including performance tuning.
- ✓Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- ✓Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
- ✓Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
