About the Role
Planned Parenthood Federation of America seeks an experienced Manager, People, Culture and Equity Generalist to join the People Operations Team. This role serves as the operational lead responsible for executing compliant employee lifecycle processes, ensuring data quality, and maintaining internal documentation and SOPs.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own and execute all core People Operations processes for employee lifecycle changes including hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations
- →Draft and issue documentation such as union eligibility notices, wage notices, promotion letters, and termination packages
- →Maintain data integrity in HR systems like SuccessFactors and ensure compliance with effective dates and pay rate changes
- →Serve as the sole owner of the union calculator, determining eligibility and notifying unions and employees
- →Conduct routine audits of employee data to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal and organizational standards
- →Lead the development, review, and maintenance of SOPs and workflow documentation for People Ops processes
- →Support the creation and maintenance of recurring People Ops dashboards and data reports
- →Lead and execute People Ops-specific projects focused on systems, processes, or compliance enhancements
- →Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Business Partners, People Systems, and Compensation teams to align lifecycle transactions
- →Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance and audit documentation requests
Requirements
- ✓High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- ✓Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in HR operations, employee lifecycle processing, or HR systems administration
- ✓Experience working with union-represented employees and applying collective bargaining agreements is a plus
- ✓In-depth understanding of employee lifecycle workflows including hires, promotions, terminations, transfers, and union eligibility changes
- ✓Hands-on experience using HRIS systems like SuccessFactors for data entry, auditing, and reporting
- ✓Demonstrated experience maintaining data accuracy, audit trails, and compliance with policies and regulations
- ✓Strong skills in Google Sheets or Excel including data validation, conditional formatting, and basic analysis
- ✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information clearly and build strong relationships
- ✓Proven ability to draft, maintain, and govern standard operating procedures across functions
- ✓Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to independently manage projects and deliverables
- ✓Ability to exercise discretion and maintain strict confidentiality when handling high-level policy and organizational information

- ✓Travel requirement: Up to 10%
