National Director, Information Security at ppfa

About the Role

Planned Parenthood Federation of America seeks a National Director of Information Security to lead the strategic direction and operational oversight of the information security program. This role reports to the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer and is responsible for protecting the data of patients, supporters, donors, and staff across the federation. The position involves managing security technologies, operations, and compliance while fostering a collaborative security environment.

Key Responsibilities

• →Provide strategic leadership for the Information Security team, managing people, processes, and cyber technologies
• →Oversee PPFA's complex Information Security technology stack and National Office security operations
• →Lead the InfoSec Architecture and Engineering function, embedding security into the software development lifecycle
• →Manage security operations including vulnerability management, threat intelligence, incident response, and MSSP partnerships
• →Serve as a subject matter expert and liaison across divisions to ensure comprehensive security program compliance
• →Develop and implement security initiatives, policies, and best practices across the federation
• →Monitor and analyze PPFA's security posture, identifying opportunities for improvement
• →Lead incident response efforts and develop/execute IR tabletop exercises
• →Drive threat analysis, intelligence gathering, and implementation of countermeasures
• →Create and manage InfoSec metrics and reporting for executive communication
