About the Role
We are looking for a Field Marketing Manager to build and activate Prolific's presence within the academic research community. This role sits at the intersection of marketing strategy and deep academic credibility, focusing on driving awareness and pipeline within our most strategically important segment.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and execute a field marketing strategy targeting universities, research labs, and academic conferences
- →Partner closely with the GTM Research Team to ensure campaigns resonate with academic audiences
- →Own academic event sponsorships, speaking submissions, and conference presence
- →Build and grow a community of academic advocates and research champions
- →Build relationships with academic associations, ethics boards, and research networks
- →Drive academic pipeline in coordination with named academic accounts
- →Manage academic-specific content including whitepapers, research reports, and webinars
- →Track and report on academic segment metrics
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience in field marketing, academic marketing, or a closely related B2B marketing role
- ✓Track record of developing marketing programmes that drive pipeline
- ✓Experience owning event strategy and conference presence
- ✓Experience working alongside sales or account management teams
- ✓Strong cross-functional collaborator
- ✓Data-driven mindset with ability to define, track, and optimise metrics
- ✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills
