About the Role
The Presales Engineer plays a critical role in both pre-sales and after-sales activities, supporting the Area Manager Sales with technical expertise throughout the sales process. This position involves representing the company to establish technical solutions that integrate into end customers' systems and ensuring Promethean products meet market demands.
Key Responsibilities
- →Provide technical hardware and software support, both remote and in the field, for the Area Manager Sales, especially for key tender preparation and during the tender process
- →Track product enhancements for tenders
- →Support key customers and partners in answering technical product questions after consulting the Area Manager Sales
- →Deliver technical training for installing and maintaining Promethean hardware and software for end customers, partners, and colleagues
- →Document product enhancements and bugs in the internal portal Promethean Backstage and serve as the first point of contact for the Promethean Support and Escalations Team
- →Maintain and install Promethean's internal hardware and software products in the office and in flight cases
- →Support the Area Manager Sales and partners, especially through escalated support requests at the end customer
- →Develop audio-visual training material for partners and end customers in the German-speaking market
- →Install and train new hires on IT equipment based on Promethean standards
Requirements
- ✓Extensive knowledge of Promethean hardware and software solutions
- ✓Technical background, preferably in IT or support
- ✓Excellent presentation and communication skills
- ✓Problem-solving orientation
- ✓Proficiency in English and excellent German language skills
- ✓Willingness to travel and stay overnight
