About the Role
Platinum Technologies is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to join their team in Tampa, Florida. This hands-on role involves implementing data-centric security controls across hybrid environments, including commercial cloud capabilities and classified networks.
Key Responsibilities
- →Configure and deploy Sensitivity Labels, Auto-labeling policies, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) rules within Microsoft 365 E5 suite
- →Implement and manage enterprise Digital Rights Management (DRM) solutions like Virtru or Kiteworks
- →Oversee the transition of security policies from monitoring to blocking mode
- →Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure data tags are correctly enforced
- →Assist in manual policy updates for air-gapped environments
Requirements
- ✓Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
- ✓3+ years experience with Microsoft Information Protection (MIP), Sensitivity Labels, and DLP policies
- ✓CompTIA Security+ CE (or higher)
- ✓Experience with enterprise encryption and Rights Management tools
- ✓Strong understanding of data classification methodologies
- ✓Ability to diagnose and resolve complex encryption and policy issues
- ✓Journeyman or Senior level experience (3-10+ years) with relevant degree
