About the Role
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join Pure Storage's first R&D site in Bengaluru, India. This role involves leading a team of engineers focused on enabling product engineers to deliver high-quality software.

Requirements
- ✓12+ years of combined experience as a software developer and manager
- ✓3+ years of technical management experience while staying hands-on
- ✓7+ years of hands-on software development experience
- ✓Experience in hiring, coaching, and leading a team with senior engineers
- ✓Proven expertise in managing projects throughout the entire SDLC
- ✓Exposure to distributed systems, systems programming, or solving problems at scale
- ✓Exposure to Operating Systems, File Systems, or Storage
- ✓Strong business focus
- ✓Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- ✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Energetic yet empathetic and calm under pressure
