THE ROLE As a Finance Intern within our Center of Excellence, you will bridge the gap between complex data and strategic business decisions. You will collaborate across R&D, Sales, and G&A functions to transform raw financial metrics into actionable insights that fuel our global growth. This role is designed for a forward-thinking analyst eager to drive operational excellence and deliver high-visibility projects to senior leadership in a fast-paced, innovative environment. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Drive Strategic Insights: Own and execute a high-impact financial project from inception to completion, culminating in a formal presentation of your findings and scalable solutions to senior Finance leadership. • Optimize Financial Operations: Build and refine sophisticated financial models and automated dashboards that increase the speed and accuracy of decision-making for our global business partners. • Enable Data-Driven Strategy: Synthesize large datasets to identify trends and variances, providing the "story behind the numbers" that helps functional leaders manage their budgets and investments effectively. • Modernize Finance Tooling: Support the integration of advanced analytics—including SQL, Python, or AI-driven workflows—to streamline repetitive reporting and enhance the Finance team’s overall efficiency. WHAT YOU BRING • Analytical Rigor: A strong foundation in financial modeling, accounting principles, and data synthesis, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, persuasive business narratives. • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets, combined with an interest or experience in data visualization tools and programming languages (such as SQL or Python) to drive automation. • Collaborative Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills with a proactive mindset, comfortable engaging with cross-functional teams to solve problems and manage project timelines. • Agile Mindset: The ability to commit 20 hours per week during the academic year while thriving in a fast-paced environment that values initiative, organizational excellence, and a passion for continuous learning. • Location: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Prague office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
