About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the FlashArray Virtualization Ecosystem team at Pure Storage. This role involves building integrations that make Pure Storage feel native inside customers' virtualized environments, working with platforms like VMware vSphere, Veeam, and PowerShell.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and implement new features and technologies for high-performance, highly reliable virtualization integrations
- →Own and deliver FlashArray virtualization plugins end-to-end, from early design to production-quality software
- →Solve challenging systems problems across virtualization platforms
- →Collaborate with a small, experienced engineering team
- →Work on capabilities that help customers integrate FlashArray smoothly into their virtualized environments
- →Learn deeply about virtualization, storage systems, and system software
Requirements
- ✓Professional experience with Java for backend or systems-level development
- ✓Hands-on experience in one or more of the following domains: distributed systems, operating systems, Linux kernel, database internals, hypervisors, containers, compiler optimization
- ✓Natural curiosity and strong design sensibility
- ✓Enthusiasm for working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
