About the Role
Join Pure Storage's Systems Software team to architect and deliver core software for high-availability storage platforms. You'll lead development of mission-critical system components, transforming complex hardware-software integration challenges into seamless customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- →Architect high-performance networking software in C/C++ for next-generation switching platforms
- →Develop Layer 2 and Layer 3 features including forwarding behavior and control-plane protocols
- →Lead hardware-software integration with ASIC vendors and platform teams
- →Design SONiC-based solutions for our disaggregated network operating system
- →Drive technical excellence as a mentor and leader for complex initiatives
Requirements
- ✓Advanced C/C++ (C++11+) programming skills with performance-sensitive systems experience
- ✓Deep knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols (Ethernet, VLANs, BGP, ECMP)
- ✓Experience with switch SDKs or Linux networking internals
- ✓Understanding of non-disruptive upgrade technologies
- ✓Collaborative technical leadership abilities
